Winter Classes:

Fundamentals Course
Provides a foundation in the essentials of art, familiarity with basic techniques, styles, media and subject matter, while fostering creativity and personal expression. (Ongoing, students should consider these classes as a continuation of previous work. Students are also welcome to join at any time)
All materials are included. All levels welcome.

Children (6-11)

Mondays from 4-5:30pm, ongoing; $120 per month
Saturdays from 9:00-10:30am, ongoing; $120 per month

Teens (12-18)
Saturday from 1:30-3:00pm, ongoing; starts September 1, 2009 $120 per month

Adult Class
Painting
This class will focus on the fundamentals of painting, with a focus on composition and color. We will cover the full painting process from start to finish. Our subject matter will include still life and landscapes. Students will have the option of using oils or acrylic paint. Both beginners and more experienced students are encouraged to sign up; the instructor will accommodate all skill levels. Materials included, except canvas.

Private lessons available for available for ages 8-adult, in your home, the La Jolla Art Studio or en plein aire.
$50 per hour (2 hour minimum for 13 and up).
$40 per hour for semi private 2-4 students.
